Weaver Music (“we,” “us”) provides piano lessons online and in person in the San Francisco Bay Area through weaversmusic.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what your choices are.
Information we collect
- Booking details. When you book a lesson we collect your name, email address, and phone number so we can schedule, confirm, and remind you about lessons.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers; we receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded and its amount.
- Lesson data. Online lessons take place over Zoom. We store your lesson history, course progress, and teaching notes so lessons can build on each other.
- Site analytics and advertising data. We use cookies to understand how visitors find us — including campaign tags (such as UTM parameters) when you arrive from an ad, and analytics/advertising tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. These help us measure which ads work.
How we use it
- Scheduling, teaching, and communicating about your lessons (confirmations, reminders, Zoom links).
- Processing payments and keeping business records.
- Improving the site and measuring advertising.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Children
Many of our students are children. Accounts and bookings for students under 18 are made by a parent or guardian, and we communicate with the parent or guardian. We collect only what is needed to teach: the student’s first name, age range, and lesson history.
Who we share data with
Only the service providers that make lessons work: Stripe (payments), Zoom (video lessons), Google (email, calendar, analytics), and Meta (advertising measurement, where applicable). Each processes your data under its own privacy policy.
Retention and your rights
We keep booking and payment records as long as required for business and tax purposes. You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it (where we are not legally required to keep it) by emailing weaversmusic2026@gmail.com. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA/CPRA through the same address.
Cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, though some conveniences (like staying logged in) will not.
