Effective date: July 28, 2026
These terms govern lessons and site use at weaversmusic.com, operated by Weaver Music (“we,” “us”). By booking a lesson or creating an account you agree to them.
Lessons and booking
- Lessons are one-on-one, online and live over Zoom, booked through this site.
- New students may book one free 30-minute trial lesson. One trial per student/household.
- Paid lessons: $60 (30 min), $80 (45 min), $99 (60 min). Prices may change with notice; booked lessons keep their booked price.
Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Single lessons booked online are paid through the payment link in your booking confirmation.
Ongoing students are billed monthly, in advance, for the lessons on their calendar that month. At your first paid lesson we set up payment for that lesson plus the rest of that month. After that, each month is billed on the 1st: with autopay on, your saved card is charged automatically; with autopay off, you receive a secure payment link by email. Lesson prices are shown on the booking page, and there is no contract or sign-up fee. Tell us before the 1st if you want to stop lessons.
Cancellations and rescheduling
- You can reschedule or cancel from your account page. Please give at least 48 hours’ notice.
- Cancel 48 hours or more before a lesson and you receive a free lesson credit of the same length, which you can book at any time within 6 months of it being issued. Each credit has its own 6-month expiry. Credits replace refunds, and the month is still billed in full.
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, and no-shows, cannot be credited. In an emergency, text Austin and we will do what we can.
- If we must cancel, you receive a free lesson credit, or a refund of that lesson if you prefer.
Refunds
If a paid lesson could not take place for a reason on our side (teacher absence, technical failure on our end), you receive a full refund or a free rebooking. Completed lessons are not refundable.
Course library
Video courses are included with active lesson enrollment for your personal use. Please don’t copy, share, or redistribute course videos — they remain our copyrighted work.
Conduct and environment
Lessons require a working instrument (61+ keys) and, for online lessons, a device with a camera. For students under 18, a parent or guardian books the lessons and should be reachable during lesson time.
Liability
Lessons are provided “as is” with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the lesson concerned.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be handled in the courts of California.
